Based in Hamble, AquaNav Marine Ltd is a Marine Engineering business that repairs yacht systems as well as designs, supplies and installs power and navigation solutions for boat owners and marine businesses.
AquaNav approached Tinstar with a brief to design a logo that conveyed high quality of service and craftsmanship rather than an overly technical looking brand. The brief was specific about requiring the typography to form a wave or the bow of yacht.
The final logo integrated both concepts into a marine-centric, crisp design. A variety of versions were created for different applications, including greyscale, reversed and line art versions.
