Inspired by the Pocket Guide to the New Forest which Tinstar Design had created for the newly formed New Forest National Park Authority, the Malvern Hills Conservators commissioned us to create a brochure along similar lines.
Its purpose was to promote the beautiful Malvern Hills to the general public, and to inform them about the location’s history and conservation.
An enormously enjoyable road trip ensued as I travelled to the Malvern Hills at the invitation of the Head Conservator. I was given a personal tour around (and up) the Hills which was both fascinating and educational. It’s not a part of the world that I was previously familiar with; and I found it a stunning location.
Following subsequent discussions and a thorough brief, Tinstar created an A3 leaflet (folded three times to DL size) which ticked all the right boxes. The illustration of the Malvern Hills overview and profile was created in-house using existing tourist information picked up in Great Malvern as reference.
The finished leaflet was printed on environmentally friendly stock – 9 Lives Offset silk – which is manufactured from 100% recycled fibre.
