The UK’s newest National Park, the New Forest, has an interesting history and a varied landscape. The New Forest National Park Authority (NFNPA) has the responsibility of administering and maintaining the park.
Tinstar Design has worked with the Authority on a number of projects, the first of which was a Pocket Guide leaflet design, created as an informative guide for visitors to the New Forest. It opens out to A3 and is folded three times to DL size, a handy standard size. This enabled us to get a lot of information into the leaflet without cluttering it with too much content.
On a visit to the New Forest one summer, the Malvern Hills Head Conservator happened to pick up a New Forest Pocket Guide. He was so inspired by the format that he commissioned Tinstar to design and produce a similar brochure on behalf of the Malvern Hills Conservators.
A further informative leaflet about ground nesting birds of the New Forest was commissioned by the NFNPA. The leaflet design was in keeping with the existing brand guidelines of the client, and was printed on recycled paper.
