The Tall Ships Youth Trust is the UK’s oldest youth development sail training charity with headquarters in historic Portsmouth, Hampshire.
The annual British Classic Regatta Week adopted the Tall Ships Youth Trust as their first charity partner, but no suitable literature was available to insert into the entrants’ pack which would educate participants about the amazing work carried out by the Trust. Time was of the essence, as the event was fast approaching.
A four page A5 booklet was the ideal format to showcase the Tall Ships Youth Trust. The aim of the leaflet was to give an overview of the Trust and its activities with a call to action directing readers to visit their website to find out more. Printing was also required for the project, which tightened the deadline.
Tinstar Design was chosen to assist with the project as well as advise on print production and finishing. Using brand guidelines to influence the look, feel and layout of the leaflet, Tinstar produced visuals for consideration, whilst preparing the selected print supplier for a fast turnaround. The proofs were passed back and forth for amendments and content tweaks until approved for print production.
The finished leaflets arrived with the client with time to spare, enabling the numerous British Classic Regatta Week entrants to learn about the great work of the Tall Ships Youth Trust from Day One.
The fast turnaround of the project and positive feedback from the target audience gave our client the confidence to return to Tinstar for subsequent projects.
