From time to time we’re lucky enough to have reason to unpack our huge Cubelite photo booth. It’s large enough to sleep in – or to photograph a dog sitting on artificial grass. They say that you should never work with animals or children… they’re right. Pippin made us work for the shot. But she was such a sweetie that we didn’t mind at all.
Slightly less stressful was the photograph we had to take of a hand brushing the surface of the same artificial grass surface. The grass was provided by Namgrass UK (based in Bashley, Hampshire) and the hand by our amenable bookkeeper, Tamsyn. I first shot the hand of our designer, Mark, but it was simply too hairy. Sorry Mark.
The results of both photoshoots made it all worthwhile – although the hairy doggy certainly used up more film…
Touching nature
The photoshoot of the hand brushing across the surface of the grass was intended to convey the idea that touching the natural, highly realistic artificial grass made by Namgrass was little different to the sensation of touching real grass.
Pippin the Cockerpoo
Pippin’s role was intended to promote the idea that Namgrass artificial grass is pet-friendly. The grass might be pet friendly, but our photo booth isn’t… didn’t she do well?
